My name is Shanica Baptiste-Simmonds, and I’m the founder and aesthetic nurse practitioner behind Rejuvilux Wellness. This practice is more than just a clinic, it is the embodiment of my lifelong dedication to wellness, beauty, and the deep, transformative journey that lies between them.

A Journey Rooted in Experience and Empathy 

Before I stepped into the world of aesthetics, I spent over eight years as an emergency room registered nurse, and then transitioned into my current role as a nurse practitioner. While my medical training laid the foundation for safe, evidence-based care, it was my personal struggle with weight and health that brought new depth to my approach. I know firsthand what it’s like to carry the physical and emotional weight of obesity, and the courage it takes to ask for help.

Over the course of 1.5 years, I lost 90 pounds with the support of GLP-1 agonist therapy, consistent lifestyle changes, and sheer determination. That journey changed more than just my body, it reshaped how I understand wellness, self-worth, and the critical need for individualized, judgment-free care.

At Rejuvilux Wellness, my mission is clear: to offer holistic, patient-centered treatments that don’t just treat symptoms, but restore confidence and redefine what wellness looks like for each person who walks through our doors. I believe in meeting people where they are; whether they’re navigating weight loss, hormone imbalance, or seeking to enhance their natural beauty through aesthetics.

I’ve spent years collaborating with patients across Texas to help them achieve their wellness goals, providing guidance that’s grounded in science, empathy, and a shared understanding of the road ahead.

My love for aesthetics grew from a desire to merge wellness with the empowering, confidence-boosting world of cosmetic medicine. I’ve sought out the most advanced training and hands-on mentorship across Texas, learning from some of the industry’s best in injectables, lasers, PDO threads, body contouring, and regenerative treatments. Every service I offer is delivered with intention, artistry, and a deep respect for natural beauty.
